Happy Monday! HA! I needed a longer weekend, that is a definite. But at least the work week seems to go quickly by and then next weekend will be here before I know it.
I went to a crop a couple of weeks ago and only got 2.5 layouts done. This was the first one! This is my second layout with my Gossamer Blue July kit and I fiddled and fiddled with it until I was finally happy with it. It was one of those days.
These are some pictures from the past St. Patrick's Day parade here. They had a entire collection of Volkswagens...from bugs to vans! I loved this pink one and the eyelashes on it!
Supplies: Pattern Paper-My Mind's Eye (Find Your Wings and Fly- Sky's the Limit No Limit *polka dot, Kate and Co- Cambridge Court May flowers *teal stripe/Spring Showers *flowers/Stripes *yellow stripe); Cork Circles-Studio Calico (Atlantic); Empherma (balloon heart flowers)-Fancy Pants Wonderful Day Pack; Chalkboard Stickers-American Crafts Remarks; Phrase Stickers-Simple Stories (I {heart} Summer); Cork Shapes (hearts)-Fancy Pants
Supplies not in kit: Pen-Uniball gel pen; Letters-American Crafts; Doily-Hobby Lobby; Houses Stamp-Cocoa Daisy; Pattern Paper (for houses)-Simple Stories (Vintage Bliss); Ink-Memento; Punch-EK Success; Twine-The Twinery; Arrow-Freckled Fawn
I am loving making clusters more and more. It is almost a challenge to see if I can create one that I fall in love with! This was one. It started with the black chalkboard sticker and the phrase sticker. It grew from there!
I thought these black Thickers in my stash went great with the car theme. And I can tell you that the Uniball Signo gel pen in white is THE BEST white pen around!
Well, here is to hoping that Monday goes fast and that the week goes faster! (Can you tell I am writing this on Sunday night and not wanting the weekend to end?!)
Only 2.5 half completed ... for me that would be a blessing to get that many done. LOL
