Well, I have been busy creating, if you can believe it?? Saturday was ScrapaPalooza with Scrapbook Generation and around 300 croppers. We had a fun time, I got to see friends I hadn't seen in a while, got to meet some new people and in general just create from 9 am - 10 pm. I think I was one of the last to get their stuff packed...I was trying to finish a layout!
It was great to talk to fellow Sketch Support team members...Christina Hoffman, Christy Arthur, and Amy Roller! I have a picture of all of us, I just need to edit it. I only took TWO pictures....well, Jennifer took two pictures with my camera. I decided to just enjoy the time and not really worry about pictures!
Speaking of Palooza...I was "the bad cropper". I spilled my can of Dr. Pepper. Luckily I was sitting on the end....it was in my area. Moving like the Man of Steel, I quickly picked up my project, trimmer, etc. Then my sweet friend, Lexi, pointed out that the edge of my phone was sitting in the puddle.....did I try to save it...no, I went for the PAPER!!!!! Phone is fine, the puddle was small, and no scrappy supplies were hurt in the process.
Here is a layout that I got done that I can show now...it was a just for fun one, no DT assignment, no deadline except the building closing!
Supplies: American Crafts City Park; American Crafts Thickers; American Crafts and May Arts Ribbon, Martha Stewart border punch, Jute, Scotch ATG and Fabri Tac Adhesives, Clearsnap Cat's Eye ink
And a close up of that flower!
Well, that's it for me....I am up at Sketch Support on Wednesday. And there is a giveaway sponsored by American Crafts that you can get in on until Thursday...so make sure and visit over there!!
Well thank goodness the scrappy project is safe! LOL LOL LOL! I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that lo!! That FLOWER ROCKS! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
